Caleb M. Knepper

Caleb Knepper joined the firm in 2016 practicing in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Business Planning and Tax Planning.  Caleb grew up in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, before moving to Newton, Illinois while in high school.  Caleb attended Washington University in St. Louis and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Religious Studies.  During his time at Washington University in St. Louis, Caleb played basketball and was a member of the back to back Division 3 National Championship teams in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.  Additionally, Caleb received the Robert L. Pearce Award, which is given annually to a Men’s Basketball player who best exemplifies and demonstrates hard work, 110 % effort and commitment to team play.

Following completion of his undergraduate studies, Caleb continued his education at The Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida, where he earned the degree of Juris Doctor, cum laude, in May of 2015.  While at Barry University, Caleb earned a position on the prestigious Earth and Environmental Law Journal and was the Lead Articles Editor during the 2014-2015 edition of the Journal.  Caleb achieved book awards (meaning he was top of the class) in Florida Civil Practice, Drafting Wills, Florida Probate Practice, and Federal Income Taxation.

In the fall of 2015, Caleb was accepted into the Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M.) program at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, which is considered to be one of the top graduate tax programs in the country. Caleb finished his LL.M. in the summer of 2016. 

In his personal life, Caleb was recently married to Katie (Harper) Knepper (who is a lawyer in Ocala, Florida).  Caleb and Katie love attending sporting events at the University of Florida, especially basketball and football.  Caleb also enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing with his dogs, and watching his beloved Chicago Cubs.
